These terms and conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of RouteBuddy services. Please read this Agreement carefully before using our services.

Introduction

This Agreement governs your use of RouteBuddy services, which provide driving test routes, practice maps, and other related content for learner drivers and driving instructors. By accessing or using our services through RouteBuddy, you agree to the terms of this Agreement.

Payments, Taxes, and Refunds

You may purchase or subscribe to content through RouteBuddy. Payments include applicable taxes.

Subscriptions: Subscription fees are charged at the start and will automatically renew each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Refunds: Refund requests can be made within 14 days of purchase, provided the content has not been fully accessed or downloaded.

Account

You may need to create an account to use RouteBuddy services. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Privacy

RouteBuddy respects your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

Usage Rules

Content provided by RouteBuddy is for personal use only and may not be resold, redistributed, or used for commercial purposes.

Users must not engage in activities that compromise the security or integrity of the service.

Downloads

Once purchased, you are encouraged to download and securely store the content, as it may not always remain available for future downloads.

Subscriptions

RouteBuddy offers subscription-based services that grant ongoing access to updated driving test routes. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.

It is your responsibility to cancel before the next billing cycle.

Content and Service Availability

RouteBuddy strives to keep content up to date but cannot guarantee availability at all times.

Test routes may change due to third-party factors.

Updates to Our App

RouteBuddy may provide updates, bug fixes, or feature changes, but is not obligated to maintain any particular features.

Third-Party Devices and Equipment

RouteBuddy services are designed to work on various devices, but functionality may be limited on non-supported devices.

Termination and Suspension

RouteBuddy reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to services for violations of this agreement.

Upon termination, access to purchased content may be revoked.


User-Generated Content Disclaimer

Any routes created or uploaded by users are their own content and are not verified by RouteBuddy. We do not endorse or take responsibility for the accuracy or safety of user-generated routes.

Safety & Reliability Disclaimer

RouteBuddy does not guarantee the safety, correctness, or legality of any user-generated routes. Users follow these routes at their own risk. RouteBuddy is not responsible for any incidents or accidents that occur while using these routes.

No Liability for Harm

RouteBuddy will not be liable for any personal injury, property damage, or losses arising from the use of routes, except as required by UK law. This exclusion does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by RouteBuddy’s negligence.

User Responsibilities

Users must:
  • Follow all UK traffic laws and road signs when using RouteBuddy.
  • Apply their own judgment when following app-generated or user-generated routes, and not rely solely on these routes for safe navigation.
  • Ensure they have appropriate insurance coverage and their driving status is valid.

Reporting and Removal of Dangerous Content

Users can report unsafe or misleading routes through our reporting system. RouteBuddy reserves the right to remove any content that is deemed unsafe, misleading, or violates these terms.

Indemnity Clause

You agree to indemnify and hold RouteBuddy harmless from any claims, damages, or legal costs that arise due to content you upload, including user-generated routes. If RouteBuddy is sued because of your content, you will cover the costs of defending the claim.

Jurisdiction & Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.

Miscellaneous Terms

This Agreement represents the entire understanding between you and RouteBuddy and may be modified occasionally.
